It has often been said that making visual art is more of a marathon than a sprint. This small group of Ma Fine Art students, who embarked on the course two years ago, should be applauded for the resilience, flexibility and determination they have showed, adapting to difficult circumstances through the covid pandemic, finding new ways of sustaining their work despite the difficulties.
This new working environment has tested their resources in many ways and each has found a way of presenting a personal vision of the world. Postgraduate Fine Art involves the student in a rigorous revaluation of studio practise and then growth into something new, developing and renewing their work.
The three students here have successfully navigated this process, with three different bodies of work that are diverse in themes and materials and engage the viewer, realising personal ambitions. We are delighted that the students made it through this marathon and kept their individual creative flames alight in order to finally realise this exhibition.
INTRODUCTION

Dywedwyd yn aml fod gwneud celf weledol yn fwy o farathon na sbrint. Dylai'r grwp hwn o fyfyrwyr Celf Gain MA, a ddechreuodd ar y cwrs ddwy flynedd yn ôl, gael eu cymeradwyo am y dycnwch, hyblygrwydd a'r penderfyniad maent wedi ei ddangos, gan addasu i amodau anodd drwy gydol y pandemig covid, gan ddod o hyd i ffyrdd newydd o gynnal eu gwaith er gwaethaf yr anawsterau.
Mae'r amgylchedd gwaith newydd hon wedi profi eu hadnoddau mewn nifer o ffyrdd ac mae pob un wedi dod o hyd i ffordd o gyflwyno gweledigaeth bersonol o'r byd. Mae Celfyddyd Gain ôl-radd yn golygu ailwerthusiad trylwyr o ymarfer stiwdio i'r myfyriwr ac yna twf i rywbeth newydd, gan ddatblygu ac adnewyddu eu gwaith.
Mae'r tri myfyriwr yma wedi mynd drwy'r broses hon yn llwyddiannus, gyda thri chorff gwahanol o waith sydd yn amrywiol mewn themâu a deunyddiau ac yn denu'r gwyliwr, gan wireddu uchelgeisiau personol. Rydym mor falch o'r ffaith i'r myfyrwyr lwyddo i fynd drwy'r marathon hwn gan gadw eu fflamau creadigol unigol ynghyn er mwyn medru gwireddu'r arddangosfa hon o’r diwedd.
